Service Learning Project
The contest was based on the concept of design and also to gather a larger understanding on what community meant to the children within the city. Students from five elementary and two high schools submitted designs on what community meant to them. Thirty+ designs selected to be incorporated into a quilt. The quilt then was hung at each of the seven schools.
